Our Virgil Set For Debut Film

Babasiga lad Pedro Virgil and one of the most preeminent creative directors and photographers will join forces with multi-award winning Australia filmmakers.

Joshua Hoareau of Cinestudios and Producer/Writer Craig Hillgrove of Sonpollo Entertainment will direct a debut feature film called “Satan’s Cell”.

During an internet interview Mr Hillgrove said Satan’s Cell was a paranormal suspense – thriller set in an abandoned Australian prison, a prison that housed Australia’s most violent criminals.

Mr Hillgrove said Mr Virgil was most notably known as one of the celebrity judges on the reality TV Shows Caribbean’s Next Top Model, Australia’s Next Top Model and Project Runway Australia.

“Pedro’s work can be recognised on major billboards from high profile brands such as Rolex, Sony, Adidas, Sony Ericson, Van Heusen and Calvin Klein,” Mr Hillgrove said.

Mr Hillgrove said collections of his work are showcased within his book publications – ‘Gods of Sport”, ‘Gods of Football’, and his upcoming book ‘Cyber Gods’, which clearly illustrate why he was destined for the big screen.

He said Pedro’s move into film allowed him to bring his works of art to life.

“Inspired by relatively low budget films like – ‘The Shinning’, ‘The Blair Witch Project’ and ‘The Paranormal Series’, the creative team of Satan’s Cell hopes it can breathe some much needed life into the Australian film industry by creating entertaining films that audiences in Australia and around the world want to watch” Mr Hillgrove said.

The film “Santa’s Cell” will be premiered in Fiji while Mr Virgil will fly out on Wednesday.
