Essence of Fiji welcomed its first transit customers for its Spa Rejuvenation Centre this week.

Tiffany and Michael, who were said they were in need of a spa, during their transit, were really impressed that this sort of facility was available in Fiji.

The Spa Rejuvenation Centre offers a total rejuvenation and wellbeing solution for locals and guests coming to Fiji and is located in close proximity to Nadi International Airport.

“For the late American flights, this is going to be an amazing attraction or convenience service for those Americans,” Ms Tiffany said.

Managing director of Senikai Spas, Debra Sandranu, said: “They could not praise the facility enough and had said they will like our facebook page and also add it on TripAdvisor.

“They also raved about their spa treatments; they had pampering while they were here as well. They received facials and massage and treatments.

“So after their treatment, they were able to go and relax in the day room until we dropped them to the airport.

The transit to the airport includes a free shuttle service so customers are able to use the facility for up to six hours at a cost of $38.

Ms Sadranu said: “Upon arrival they get to use our lounge in the day room, they also get a beautiful spa foot ritual and at the end, we shuttle service them to the airport for their flight.

Other services

Essence of Fiji also has a flight schedule screen for in-bound and out-bound flights that give details on flights and delays.

“So if the flight was to be delayed, instead of rushing them to the airport, we can keep them here and then drop them in time for their flight,” Ms Sadranu said.

Essence of Fiji will also have a roof top transit lounge with a bar for the customers to relax in. That That will open at the end of February.

“Our facility is open from 6am till 10pm to cater the early and late flights.

“We are also open to locals who can come in and have gym membership or use the café, day spa and massage services,” Ms Sadranu said.

“We have a room for the group massage and we also cater to hen’s parties as we get a lot of bookings for hen’s party, which is groups in general.”
