A strong Government critic at an island not so far from Suva is using solar at his farm.

This is great but it is a village project. Many in his village had asked  for it.

But he preferred to use it in his farmhouse which most of the time is empty.

Not his to ask

A “landowner” had asked for $1,500 as advance payment for his land.

Now Mickey Bird has clarified that this particular piece of land belongs to a church group in Fiji.

Wedding ‘fee’

Squatters on a land just outside Suva paid an advanced payment of $1,500 and are required to pay $30 per month rental.

Now the blanbdowner has demanded that they pay $100 each for his son’s wedding in August.

About 40 households are affected.

Looking for numbers

The former presidsent of the Fijian Teachers Association Tevita Koroi was given money from the Association for membership drive in the United States of America.

Interesting to know how many new members from the USA has he able to register?

Changing ways

The recent removal of the Fijian Teachers Association General Secretary has seen a twist in the way forward for the Assoiciation.

Mickey Bird has been realiably informed that the Association is now supportive of Government’s new way forward to build a better Fiji for all.
