The Telecom Fiji Warriors side will undergo their final test before the 35 players are selected later today.

The squad will be selected from the 38 which attended the trials in Lawaqa Park, on Wednesday.

Vodafone Flying Fijians head coach John McKee confirmed that the New Zealand-based prop Taniela Koroi would be joining the boys in camp next week.

“Taniela will be coming next week and joining the team,”McKee said.

“He was part of the Flying Fijians side that toured Europe last year and will surely add power and skills in the front row.”

Koroi alongside Japan-based Filimoni Koroi and Josua Kerevi are the three overseas-based players being injected into the 38-extended squad.

Telecom Fiji Warriors coach Senirusi Seruvakula said the players would go through medical screening and gym session today.

“After medical screening and gym session we will be reducing the squad to 35 who will then be marching into camp next Monday,

“I’m confident we will select a good squad.”

The World Rugby Pacific Challenge would be hosted at the ANZ Stadium on March 10-23.
