Dilkusha Methodist High School has identified a few of their gold medal prospects for the Coca-Cola Games in April.

This was after their annual inter-house athletics competition at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.

One of those prospects is 17–year-old Akuila Qio.

The Nakorotubu, Ra, native will be participating for the first time in the 200 metres in the senior boys’ category.

“I’m expecting to put on a good show,” Qio said.

“I’ve been training really hard because the competition will be tough.”

“It is an honour and I am very happy to be part of our athletics team this year and I will do my best.”
