The Fiji Public Service Association has been given seven days to amend an application for a court ruling against the Trades Union Congress.

Justice Anjila Wati rejected a submission by FTUC lawyer Aman Singh to strike out the application in the Employment Court in Suva yesterday

The FPSA had originally applied for a court injunction to stop the FTUC election of office bearers last Saturday claiming it was unconstitutional. But the amendments were sought because circumstances had changed.

FTUC’s general secretary Felix Anthony was also in court.
