Presence In Fiji A first

Marriott will add 250 rooms to its inventory in 2016 once the Fiji Marriott Resort at Momi Bay owned by the Fiji National Provident Fund opens.

This will be the first Marriott-branded resort in Fiji and Marriott’s strong presence in Asia is believed to augur well for Fiji.

Meanwhile, the Fiji National Provident Fund chief investment officer, Jaoji Koroi, has confirmed the project is on track.

Marriott Hotels is the original and iconic brand within the Marriott International portfolio of hotel brands.

Marriott has previously assured the Fiji Marriott Resort at Momi Bay will have all the features they envisage for the new Marriott Hotels brand.

The Fiji Marriott Resort at Momi Bay offers 114 free-standing bures and 136 standard rooms.

The bures, 22 of which are overwater, are unique in the market.

Half of the 136 standard rooms will be in connecting pairs which make them the ideal accommodation choice for big families.
