The award-winning Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa is introducing another innovative kind of accommodation.

This time it will be investing into what it dubs as the first-of-its-kind- eight floating deluxe bures.

Koro Sun was the winner for the Spa & Wellness category at the AON 2014 Excellence in Tourism Awards held last Friday at the Sheraton Fiji resort.

Resort co-general manager, Josaia Rayawa said: “It is a joint partnership with ANZ and we are encouraged by their commitment to help us see this project through in 2015.

“We are very excited about the launch this year.”

Mr Rayawa confirmed more details will be revealed in two months time.

“We are proud of where we currently are in terms of performance.

“The 2014 period was one of the most consistent years in terms of occupancy levels. And we look forward to building more progress in 2015.

“It can only mean good things for the North especially when we are the biggest resort on Vanua Levu.”
