Life Cinema Enjoying Good Response

Since commencing operations in late December, Life Cinema in Nadi, a group company of Fijian Holdings Limited, has been experience wide patronage.

FHL Media Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of FHL, owns 60 per cent of Life Cinema Limited while the rest is shared between RB Patel Group, Fijian Holdings Unit Trust and Pacific Management Consultants Limited.

FHL Group chairman, Iowane Naiveli, said: “We are happy with positive comments from Nadi patrons. This is the beginning of a long journey.

“We don’t want to stay with just 620 seats but to expand the business to a wider community and provide an enjoyable experience.”

The cinema multiplex is based in the RB Patel JetPoint Complex which includes the RB Patel supermarket.

Full completion of the cinema and food courts is expected in late March. After which Life Cinema will have an official opening.

The total project cost to date is in the vicinity of $3.5 million.

The 620-seat four-cinema multiplex has the state-of-the-art technology and one of the finest sound system in the world.

Dolby Atmos is available only two theatres in Australia and none in New Zealand.

In addition to the expatriate general manager, the cinema multiplex has offered employment to more than 30 local staff. The additional food outlets that are currently under construction will employ another 20 people.
