An official announcement will be made today on the arrival of another international hotel brand in Fiji. Gokals and Accor Group will announce the Pullman Nadi Bay Resort construction project.

Media have been invited on site in Nadi Bay Road. The Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Koya, will join the hotel management and other stakeholders in making the big announcement.

The announcement is expected to include the opportunities this latest development will offer in Fiji in terms of employment, tourism and revenue etc.

Gokals, who are the developers, did not wish to divulge much information about the investment, saying all will be revealed at the event today.

Director, Vikesh Gokal, did confirm however Accor will be the operator of the hotel and it will be branded Accor’s Pullman Hotels and Resorts brand.

Pullman Hotels and Resorts are Accor’s five-star hotel brand and is the executive lifestyle upscale hotel brand: a new generation of hotels for a new generation of mobile, hyper-connected customers.

Meanwhile, the Accor Group is already present in Fiji through the Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa on Denarau Island, Mercure Hotel Nadi and Novotel Nadi and Novotel Suva Lami Bay.

Gokals already owns and operates the Peninsula Hotel in Suva and this will be their second investment in a hotel.
