More Live Gigs For KKU

Viliame Cokanauto’s Kula Kei Uluivuya continues to impress the local fans.
After the live performance at Wrectangle nightclub last week, the band has now earned more offers to perform live.
Mr Cokanauto said he would now have gigs down at the Uprising Resort on 29th of every month.
However, he has not been informed whether there would be more gigs at Wrectangles nightclub after his performance last week.
Mr Cokanauto brought the crowd to their feet during his live performance on Saturday, February 28. The night club was fully packed with fans who turned up to hear some of their favorite songs being sung live.
Apart from the top hits from his albums, Mr Cokanauto also sang some of the current hits by other singers and band.
He said that he received a very good feedback from the club directors and managers who were very impressed with his performance. That was his first live performance since going solo three months ago.
The band’s hit song Seni Mokosoi was also ranked at number three behind Hawaii’s The Green and Papua New Guinea’ s Noss for the month of February in the Top 20 Pacific countdown for the month of February.
The group even outshined international hit makers, Tongan group Common Kings who sat at number five.
Standing on the chart is determined by the votes cast online.
Mr Cokanauto has also released his latest album which is now on the market. consisting of 10 songs which were released late last year.
The album has hit songs such as Isa na Watiqu, Southern Seas and Yasayasa Vakara which are already hitting our airwaves.
The songs are being sold on i-tunes and CDs are available for $30 at any South Pacific Recordings (SPR) outlets.
