Watch Navosa Central College Under-19 rugby league team in this year’s Vodafone Trophy competition, says Suliasi Cakautabu.

The Fiji National Rugby League  (FNRL) development officer said last year’s surprise U19 finalist were impressive in their 18-4 win over Valley Junior Secondary School at Vatureba last Saturday.

“I had earlier watched the Suva Zone and the intensity of the games there,” he said.

But it’s nothing compared to the physicality witnessed here at Vatureba.”

Cakautabu said they had five secondary schools playing in the U19 competition- Navosa Central, Valley Junior, Nadroga/Navosa Secondary, Sigatoka Methodist High School and newcomers Ratu Latianara Secondary.

“We welcome Ratu Latianara Secondary into our competition and wish them well,” he said.
