The Telecom Fijian Warriors may need some work, but they are still a very tough team with great potential, says Alberto Geronimo.

The Argentina Pampas XV lock yesterday reflected on the first game with the Warriors, which the won 22-20 and a possibility of a rematch in the final round.

“They were very good,”he said.

“They might need to work on not giving away too many penalties and avoid being sent off.

While the Pampas had done well in the first two games, Geronimo hinted the Canadians would be a tougher opponent.

“We are so happy. The first match was really tough for us because of the weather. But now we are better and Canada is going to be a very tough match because they would be different.”

Geronimo relayed the team’s pleasant experience enjoying the tournament so far as well as the Fijian hospitality.

“Everything has been very nice so far. The hotel is really nice, the accommodation is good, the people are so nice and we feel very welcome here. Our visit to Gospel High School was awesome, the people were great and the hospitality was great.”

The Pampas play Canada A in the third round of the 2015 World Rugby Pacific Challenge at 3pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
