“We are looking forward to the tournament,” coach Ramon Tribulietx said.
“There will be three difficult games for us, but it’s good to be in Fiji.
“It’s good to be competing in this tournament once again and we respect other teams.
“The first game is 4.30pm on Saturday and its going to be a difficult.
“Suva is a good team, very defensive, so they will try to hit us on the counter attack. We understand that. They will be playing in front of their home fans so they will be very motivated. So playing the first game will be very difficult for us.”
Team captain Ivan Vicelich looks forward to the tournament.
“We’re really happy to be here, we had a great time last year and are excited to be part of it again this year,” Vicelich said.
“We are going to give our 110 per cent in every game and we are really excited to play our first game against Suva.
“We need to adapt and do our best and hopefully we will be able to work our way through.
“Some very good teams are out there with some very good players, so we need to be at our very best.
“Suva is a good team so it’s going to be a very difficult first game.”
Suva plays Auckland City at 4.30pm tomorrow.
