The University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Kiribati Students Association will soon start its own printing service at the Tarawa Campus.

This was revealed during the USP’s Student Council meeting at the Labasa Campus this week.

Kiribati Students Association (USPKSA) president Tieta Tofinga said students at the campus faced many problems when it came to printing their assignments.

Ms Tofinga said to print assignments students had to travel into town, which costs 25 cents (Australian).

“The 819 students sometime face problems too with the campus staff in the printing of their assignments,” she said.

Meanwhile, the construction of the new Kiribati Campus is proceeding well and it is understood that it will open in September this year.
