ANZ Ambrose Golf Event Success

New winners were crowned at the ANZ 2015 season opening ambrose at the Fiji Golf Club last Saturday.
Laisa Cigitaki, Isikeli Tuinamuana, Tukai Tuivuna and Tukai Tuivuna Jnr defeated defending champions David Oakley, Lilian Allen, Katrina Allen and Olaf Allen Jnr by 54 -53.


With 232 participants, organising committee member Rajesh Raj said the event was a success.
“There were a big number of ladies and children who turned up.


“It was generally a good day for family and around 10 children took part, all within the ages of 8-12 years old and even the Republic of Fiji Military Forces commander Brigadier-General Mosese Tikoitoga took part.


Winners in other categories included mother and son James and Selai Pridgeon who won the longest drive in the men’s and women’s category respectively.
Nearest to the Pin winners were Sheren Kumar (No.2), Tomasi Tuivuna Jnr (No.5), Caroline Chang (No.12) and James Pridgeon (No. 16). The youngest player award went to eight year old Zac Li.
