Qatar Here To Recruit More

The famous Qatar Airways held its second employment drive to recruit female flight attendants here yesterday. The recruitment drive began yesterday at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva with more than 300 female applicants dropping in their applications.

Roma Bans, 24, said she wanted to be part of Qatar Airways.

“I have done Diploma in Accounting. If I get to work with Qatar it will be a great opportunity for me. Currently she is unemployed. I am taking this as a challenge,” she said.

The Nausori resident thinks this would be an opportunity to change her life.

Ana Fifta, 27, said it would be a great experience for her if she was chosen.

“It will be a good opportunity for me and my son. I hope to be part of Qatar. It’s really inspirational seeing people working for them,” she said.

“I had a dream of travelling around the world. I am happy to be here. This is a good thing that they have chosen Fijians for this. I feel proud at the same time.”

Yanique Simpson, 21, said this is the first time she decided to take part.

“I will get the chance to see other country. I will get to see new places. This is a stepping stone in my career,” she said.

The recruitment interviews started last night. The programme will end this afternoon.
