No Stomping: Loabuka

The Fiji Sports Council is issuing a stern warning to all spectators at the 2015 Coca-Cola Games to refrain from stomping in the ANZ Stadium grandstand or risk being told to leave.

FSC chief executive officer Litiana Loabuka made this statement yesterday.

Loabuka strongly urged fans to avoid disappointment and being asked to vacate the grandstand by simply complying with the rules.

“These measures are our way of implying the message and just ensuring that they respect the property, respect the facility because we want to ensure that it lasts a few more years.

Loabuka also made special mention of all the respective stakeholders who would be working in conjunction with the FSC to ensure smooth operations.

“The Fiji Sports Council would like to acknowledge the assistance and cooperation of the Fiji Police Force, the National Fire Authority and the Fiji Navy in aiding the Fiji Sports Council security in ensuring safe and incident-free games.

“We also want to acknowledge the contribution of the friends of the Fiji Sports Council, who have volunteered in their numbers to help assist us whenever such big events are held at any of our facilities.”

Meanwhile, all tickets have been sold out for the 2015 Coca Cola Games with the games set to start at 8am this morning.
