The Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Pio Tikoduadua spoke to the heads of division in the Prime Minister’s Office during their quarterly evaluation workshop on Wednesday.

Mr Tikoduadua said senior staff members needed to evaluate themselves and improve their performance.

“A lot of things are happening. You will see a lot of the work that the Prime Minister is doing because he is trying to shape the mind of the public in the direction of change where we are heading,” he said.

“We are not headed in the same course that took us to the election. We are headed in a different direction from the place that we were, but the values that we believe in have not changed in terms of what we stand for.  You will see that we have shifted into a new political space,” he said.

Meanwhile, PM’s Office director corporate services Moape Rokosuka said the workshop was to look at their performance and how they could improve their results.

“We have leaders from each division to show what we have achieve in the areas we have identified and the best way forward for the second quarter. We have about seven units in our ministry, so the respective heads of department will present their delivery for quarter one coinciding with the targets that we have to meet in each quarter,” he said.

The PM’s Office conducts its evaluation workshop every three months to improve productivity.
