New Conference Room In Lautoka

The Ba Provincial Holdings Company Limited opened its newly built Sukanacagi conference room last Saturday in Lautoka.

With the capacity to cater at least 70 people for meetings, seminars, trainings and workshops, the conference room is located at the Rogorogo-i-Vuda House in Tavewa Avenue.

The 1040 square feet facility, worth $80,000, was blessed by Rev Kinijioji Serutawake and opened by Momo na Tui Vitogo, Ratu Wiliame Sovasova. The facility took three months to complete. It was built because of growing demand for an upgraded conference facility that was affordable. It hosts modern day facilities such as the table microphones, podium, multimedia system, projector, parking space, self catering kitchen and many more.

Prior to the opening, a traditional ceremony was performed by the staff and management of the company.

Chief guest Ratu Wiliame was pleased with this initiative by the company.

“We have witnessed a lot of business development happening in the Ba province by the Ba Provincial Holding,” he said.

“Last year we witnessed the big dividend been paid out to run their businesses at the Tokatoka or Mataqali’s. Today is another historic day to see another office been open up and this simply shows the input that has been put in place.”

Chief executive officer Isimeli Bose said the company growth was largely because of the blessings from God.

“This conference room is to cater for the numbers that have gone up and we know that we have associated organizations with us,” he said.

“We all go out and rent buildings and hire facilities which are so far away for the inconvenience of many. Now we can get them here quickly as it is close by and we also have regular meetings ourselves. So this provides the tendency to meet the needs here of many government department around the area.”
