Church Celebration Ends

More than 2000 people gathered at the World Harvest Centre in Kinoya last night to witness the closing of 25th anniversary of the Christian Mission Fellowsh ip International.

Leading the church with songs of worship and prayer president and founder of the church Reverend Suliasi Kurulo looked back in time and reminded the congregation about the vision of CMF and its focus.

“Our mission groups as well as the network of churches around the world help each other out in areas of mission, training and information about the word of God.

“Sharing the Gospel is not your mission; it is not my mission but God’s mission. It is an honour to have a great partnership with God and it is this great partnership with each other that links the people as a global church,” he said.

The prayer and opening speech was followed by the commissioning of the five family missionaries who will be operating in their own mission field from next year. The church stretched out their hands as they prayed together for the travelling families and the countries they were called to serve in.

Three gold medal awards were awarded to affiliated churches under Pastor Leopoldo Cayeedo (Colombia), Apostle Daniel Soraire (Argentina) and Apostle Juan Hernandez (Dominican Republic).

The gold medallists were thanked for their good work, prayed over and worshiped with the church as the one-week event came to an end.
