Like all church members of the Christian Mission Fellowship International, this week is special to members who travelled from Ono-i-Lau in the Lau Group.

They not only wish to strengthen their spiritual lives, but also fundraise to build their church in the village.

Keeping in mind the theme, Faith for Greater Things, Pastor Jone Temo said the eight members who had been in Suva for a week were happy to be in the capital city.

They aim to raise enough money from their stall to focus on building a place of worship back home.

“It’s a privilege to be here to witness the church celebrate its 25th anniversary,” Pastor Temo

“From Sunday until now, things had been getting better and more exciting each day, especially for the closing day where we focused on raising money for the construction of our church,” he said.
