Australia-based Vodafone Fijian Under-20 lock forward Manueli Tuiqali  believes they have  a strong chance of winning the World Rugby Under-20 Trophy in Portugal on May 12-24.

“I have been playing rugby for about four years now and it is massive for me to part of the team,” Tuiqali said.

“We are fit and can win the tournament.

“It is a privilege and a blessing to be here back in my homeland and playing for my country.

“And this is the first time I’m representing my country.

“I started of my rugby career back in Queensland and it’s an honour to be given a chance like this, especially here in my homeland.

“The coach and trainers are very helpful, especially Kele Leawere who has been helping me a lot.”

The side departs for Portugal at 8.45am from the Nadi International Airport today.
