Defending champion Chicken Express Nadi made an impressive start in the first round of the Vodafone Fiji FACT yesterday.

The 4-0 thumping of Nadroga sends a clear signal that they are serious about defending their title at Prince Charles Park this week.

Coastal Rentals Nadroga had no answer with goals coming from Munit Krishna, Samuela Drudru, Vikrant Chandra and an own goal by Anish Khem.

Crowd favourites 4R Electric Ba made a comeback beating Shop n Save Lautoka 3-2 at Govind Park, Ba.

In Pool A, Labasa’s Edwin Sahayan scored two goals in the second half to beat Tailevu/Naitasiri 2-0 at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.

Rewa upset favourites All Freight Logistics Suva 2-1, with goals coming in from Ratu Savenaca Nakalevu in the first half and Rohnil Ram in the second  to seal their win.

The second round of the 2015 Vodafone Fijian FACT resumes on Thursday at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.

Thursday: 12.30pm Suva-Tailevu/Naitasiri; 2.30 Ba-Nadroga;5.30 Labasa-Rewa; 7.30 Nadi- Lautoka

Friday: 1pm Rewa-Tailevu/Naitasiri; 3 Lautoka-Nadroga; 5 Suva-Labasa; 7 Nadi- Ba

Saturday: 4pm Winner Pool A v Runner-up Pool B (Semi); 6pm Winner Pool B v Runner-up Pool A (Semi)

Sunday: 1pm 3rd/4th Place playoff; 3pm Grand      Final; 5pm Presentation
