Lautoka Must Win Second Game, Says Coach Lambert Sarju

Shop N Save Lautoka will stop at nothing to win their second game against defending champions Chicken Express Nadi in the 2015 Vodafone Fijian FACT on Thursday. Coach Lambert Sarju said it was disappointing losing their first game 3-2 against 4R Electrical Ba but they will be out to claim their first win.

“With the amount of money we have been spending, we want to produce wins and that is the same for any team,” Sarju said.

“But in order to do that we need to learn from the last game and improve and that is what we have been doing in training.

“At any cost we have to win this next game but we have to work and improve on our mistakes which cost us our last game against Ba.”

Sarju said getting the basics right was important.

“Nadi have the advantage over us and we know they are the defending champions.

“Anything can happen on Thursday and as long as we get the basics right then we might just have a chance.

“The main areas we are focusing on are our defensive structure and concentration.”

Sarju has requested all Lautoka fans to show up in numbers to give boys a boost.

“We are urging Lautoka fans to show up and support the team, we are sorry we could not win against Ba but we will try our best to win this game.”

Lautoka will play Nadi in the last game of Round Two at 7.30pm at Prince Charles Park, Nadi.
