What happened: The Zibraaz Sahib captained Shop N Save Lautoka side put on a sterling performance to defeat defending champions Jacks Nadi side 3-2 at 2015 Vodafone Fijian FACT at Prince Charles Park in Nadi last night.

New find Cyrus Singh was the toast of the Lautoka side as he sealed the win in the 84th minute to break the deadlock and send the Blues fans into frenzy.

This was after the side were locked 2-2 where goals by Nadi’s Semesa Muadonu in the 50’, 60’ while Lautoka’s goal came off the boot of Kelvin Naidu in the 5st and Peni Finau equalised in the 72nd minute.

Halftime: Lautoka 0 – Nadi 0.

Star play: Semesa Muadonu played well compared to his first match scoring two goals.

Big lay: Cyrus Singh was instrumental to in the win.

Comments:

Lautoka coach Lambert Sarju said: “We have three points now which is what we need. We need to beat Nadroga in our last game.”

Nadi Football president Navneeda Goundar said:  We’ve to work hard and anything can happen tomorrow against B. I think we gave the game away to Lautoka but that is history now.”
