Duo Strike For Suva

When Nadi won the 2013 Vodafone Fiji FACT, Rusiate Matererega and Napolioni Qasevakatini featured prominently in the victory.
In 2014, Qasevakatini joined the capital city side while Matererega joined Lautoka.
Yesterday, both scored in the 4-0 thrashing of Tailevu/Naitasiri.
What happened: Suva put up a sterling performance in the first match of round two of the 2015 Vodafone Fijian FACT .
Qasevakatini, who had trained with Nadi for most of the FACT preparations before rejoining Suva, drew first blood in the 27th minute.
And they kept the momentum with strike partner Matarerega scoring in the 29th minute. Hardworking Dave Radrigai scored the third goal in the 39th minute before Qasevakatini sealed the match with his second goal in the 42nd minute.
Halftime: Suva 4 –0 T/Naitasiri 0

Big play: Team captain Pita Rabo played well in midfield.
Comments: Suva coach Gurjit Singh said, “Happy with the win but not happy with the second-half as we missed opportunities. Now we will focus on the next match against Labasa where we must win.”
Tailevu/Naitasiri coach Tagi Vonolagi said, “We did change our tactics in the second-half. We defended well and the boys also had chances to score.”
