Coastal Rental Nadroga assistant coached Ramesh Sharma was true to his word when he warmed that teams should not count them out. This was after they lost 0-4 to Jacks/Chicken Express Nadi last weekend.

The Sakeo Taganeca-captained side recorded their first point of the 2015 Vodafone Fijian FACT with a scoreless draw against 4R Electrical Ba yesterday.

The result kept their chances alive with a game to spare against Lautoka today.

Striker Tomasi Tuicakau, Anish Khem, Don Raj, Shivneel Sharma and Hussain Khan played well and had their chances to score.

Ba felt the heat without the services of nippy striker Abbu Zahid who was injured during training.

Star Turn: Goalkeeper Sakeo Taganeca played a lead role for Nadroga.

Big Play: Nadroga midfielder Gerrad Voi worked overtime.

Comments: Nadroga co-coach Ramesh Sharma, “ We regrouped and we worked hard. But we need to score goals if we are to win our next game.

Ba coach Shalen Lal said, “We lacked badly in the finishing department as we created a lot of chances. But Nadroga were well organised in defence. We did not underestimate them as their style of football was different. The boys showed laxity and were careless at times.”
