Big Inbound Operators Back Tourism Event

Fiji’s major inbound operators have come on-board as sponsors for the Fijian Tourism Expo (FTE) 2015 to be held in Nadi next month.

The four inbound operators – ATS Pacific and Tourist Transport Fiji (TTF), Pacific Destinations, Rosie Holidays, and Tour Managers.

These operators regularly work with large conferences and events in Fiji and are backing FTE 2015 to supports its success.

The event, which will be held from June 16 to 18 on Denarau Island Convention Centre, has attracted the interest of more than 160 overseas buyers

Tourism Fiji director of Events, Sally Cooper, said” “FTE 2015 will give the inbound operators the opportunity to showcase the range of services that they have on offer.”

“The conference and incentive market is one of the highest yield growth markets for tourism in Fiji.

“With more infrastructure under development to cater for the higher demands, the number of events in Fiji is set to grow.”

Rosie Holidays managing director, Tony Whitton, said the Fijian family-owned business is proud to be a major sponsor amd supporter of Fiji Tourism and the FTE.

“The FTE presents an amazing staging platform right here in Fiji for four days to network with all our International Buyers all over the world,” he said.

“The message is simple: Send your customers to the happiest place in the world to rest, rejuvenate and experience breath-taking scenery and a living culture like nowhere else in the world.”

What each sponsor will do:
– ATS Pacific and TTF: Provide all the welcome service, transfers as well as the theme set-up for the Gala night at FTE 2015.
– Pacific Destinations: Will host the official welcome ceremony and welcome the 160 plus international buyers to Fiji in conjunction with the 380 Fijian tourism industry representatives.
– Rosie Holidays and Rosie DMC: Sponsor a morning tea and the welcome cocktail function with Fiji Fashion Week.
– Tour Managers and Paradise Brides:
Sponsor a morning tea as well as the set-up for the Victoria Wines Food and Wine Festival.
