PacificBedBank, a travel technology company, has appointed Chanelle Zoing as its Operations manager to be based in Nadi.

PacificBedBank is an online platform that enables travel wholesalers and inbound tour operators to instantly access hotel, resort and cruise real-time room availability.

They can book rooms, suites and cabins in the predominant travel destinations in the South Pacific, including Fiji.

The former staff member of Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association now heads a skilled team who design, develop and support their clients around the world. “

“I am excited to join the PacificBedbank team and to build on the success of the company,” Ms Zoing said of her appointment.

“There is exciting times ahead and a chance to expand on our existing products with a very young and dynamic team based in Nadi.”

PacificBedBank director and founder, Bill Whiting, said: “We are excited to have Chanelle on board.

“Our technology is well-known within Fiji’s tourism industry and our systems are used globally, featuring products for Australia, Norfolk, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Tahiti, Samoa, Vanuatu and Tonga.

“She brings with her a wealth of knowledge, skills and experience in project management and resource planning that will help contribute to PacificBedbank’s growth and services to Fiji and South Pacific tourism.”

In her previous role, Ms Zoing was instrumental in delivering one of the biggest hotel trade shows in Fiji – HOTEC.

She provided support and training initiatives to Fiji’s accommodation providers and industry specialists.

She was also responsible for overseeing operations, development and execution of various projects for the Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association..
