AQUA Pacific Awarded For Best Taste

Fijian Artesian Water, AQUA Pacific, has been recognised by the Jury of the International Taste and Quality Institute in Brussels.

The brand was awarded the top award in the category for its superior taste the past week .

The International Taste & Quality Institute – iTQi – based in Brussels, is the world leading organisation dedicated to tasting and promoting superior food and drink.

The Superior Taste Award is a unique international recognition based upon the blind judgment of Chefs and Sommeliers who are opinion leaders and experts in taste.

It offers powerful marketing tools to differentiate food products and beverages. Small and large companies from more than 120 countries already benefit from the Superior Taste Award.

The Awards cover many categories, as well as water, including things like beer, sauces, cheese, yogurt, olive oil and even seaweed.

The results are used by a majority of the world’s leading chefs and others in the food industry to ensure that the products they use are the best available.

An Award from the institute is recognised in much the same way as the Michelin rating for restaurants, and is of significant value in marketing products internationally.

Boost for brand

For AQUA Pacific to be awarded in the Artesian Water category is a great boost for the brand.

AQUA Pacific chief executive and founde, Altaaf Jamal, said: “This award was made possible by our continuous focus on quality control, branding, packaging and by the source of our artesian water in the highlands, behind Nadi.

“We have always taken great care to protect the security and integrity of the source, as this is the single most important factor in our unique taste.

“We are proud that we are able to contribute to the economy of Fiji through our extensive export marketing.”

The company continues to seek opportunities in a number of other markets as well.

And in all these markets the company finds the Award recognition of the International; Taste and Quality Institute provides the edge with the local market.
