Vodafone Fijian Under -20 coach Viliame Gadolo wants more game time and preparation for our juniors.

The side finished off in 5th spot in the World Rugby U20 Trophy in Portugal last week, failing to win promotion back to Junior World Championship.

“We had two months to prepare for the competition whereas champion Georgian side had two years to prepare their team,” he said.

“We are very disappointed with the outcome especially that game against Georgia after the boys failed to execute the game plan.”

Fiji beat Portugal 34-19, lost to Georgia 13-30, edged by Uruguay 26-28 in pool play but defeated Namibia 36-24 in fifth play-off.

Some players including Asaeli Sorovaki and Filipo Daugunu have been eyed by Toulon RC while Lekima Vuda, Jone Seuvou and Vatiliai Tuidraki are destimed for Pau in France.
