Seen in economy class on flight from Nadi to Seoul – Education Minister Mahendra Reddy sitting in what is considered cattle class by some more used to flying up the pointy end of international flights.

When asked by a fellow traveller why he was travelling in economy and not business, Mr Reddy responded: “Saving taxpayers around $6000”.

Way to go, Minister!

Samoa’s Fiji fixation

So a certain Samoan editor who was part of a media trip to Japan showed that they are just as fixated on Fiji as their Prime Minister. Every media briefing that the journalists attended, Mr Editor was busy asking about Fiji, if Japan was going to keep Fiji from “making trouble” etc. Really?  Tuileapa influence much?

Or just another lapdog maybe?

Phone influence?

Is it true that a certain Mr Patel, once hailed as Man of the Year in a certain newspaper, has been calling everyone and anyone he can think of to get his bench warrant cancelled? He wants to come back to Fiji without being arrested at the airport.

Word on the street is that Mr Patel seems to have a warped idea of how things work.

Not this way in the new Fiji.

He is in for some rude awakening.
