$500 Reward

The Crime Stoppers National Board is still offering a $500 reward to any member of the public who will provide information on the whereabouts of Aliki Suka Kolinisau.

He is alleged to have set his wife and daughter on fire on the night of December 2013 while they were asleep in their home at the Natavora Waters Resort, near Tagaqe Village along the Coral Coast.

Mr Kolinisau is alleged to have escaped from the scene of the fire and stood from a distance opposite the resort watching the blaze.

The jacket that he was wearing when he was last seen was later found hanging from a tree which was 50 metres inland. Mr Kolinisau has not been seen ever since.

 

Escapees on the run

Two inmates who escaped while in Police custody are still on the run.

They are Paula Vura and Finiasi Cama Cakacaka.

Vura escaped on April 2 from the Suva Cell Block while Cakacaka, who is originally from Boitaci Village in Vanuabalavu, Lau, escaped from the Sabeto Police Station cell on May 16.

He is wanted by Nakasi Police for an alleged assault case.

People who are wanted for arrest under bench warrants are:

1. Taniela Mafi, once resided at Salala Place for a case of assault in Suva.

2. Surendra Prasad, of Farm Road, 9 Miles, Nasinu, for a case of theft in Nausori.

3. Salome Bainitabua, of Nakelo Village, Tailevu, for cases of burglary and theft in Lami.

4. Keni Kalawa, originally of Nasau, Ra, and once resided at Lololevu Settlement for a case of indecently insulting or annoying any person in Rakiraki.

5. Alipate Lumelume, originally of Namoli Village, Navosa, and once resided at Malakua, Nadi, for a case of Rape in Nadi.

6. Tevita Liuvoliga listed Wailoaloa, Nadi, as his place of residence, has been evading Police since 2012 and is wanted for arrest for a case of aggravated robbery in Nadi.

7. Nilesh Prasad once resided at Lees Road, Raiwai, Suva, for a case of burglary in Nakasi.

8. Atonio Bulivou, originally from Dreketi Village, Taveuni, for a case of theft in Savusavu.

9. Vilimone Mateiwai, originally of Naviana Village, Wailevu West, Savusavu, for cases of defilement and rape in Savusavu.

10. Lawrence Bengal is wanted for obtaining financial advantage by deception.

Missing boat

Meanwhile Police in Sigatoka are looking for information on the whereabouts of a gamefishing boat called ‘KOIKA NABILA’ which went missing from the Shangri-La’s Fijian Resort and Spa – Yanuca Island, on October 26, last year.

The boat is 8.2m long and 2.5m wide.

It is navy blue with white stripes and powered by a 200 horsepower Suzuki outboard motor. A 30hp Yamaha outboard motor was also in the boat.

The boat belongs to an Azam Khan of Waqadra, Nadi and was used as a gamefishing boat by the resort.

The boat has a furnished cabin with a gas stove, a fridge, GPS marine radio and studio with kitchen fittings.
