Specialists Boost Kila World Training

The Kila Eco Adventure Park is conducting a week-long training programme for their instructors.
This is to help maintain high standards, safety requirements and bring new and fresh team building exercise.
The trainers were brought in from New Zealand and are internationally-accredited.
Marketing director, Cate Pleass, said: “Every year, as part of our safety and compliance system the entire course structure and all equipment needs to be certified.
“This is for safe operation and compliance with international rope course standards.
“Further, our trained and certified instructors are assessed for competency and compliance with international training standards.
“Their competency in all areas of operating the course is assessed.”
The full week training and testing is undertaken with new team-building activities and concepts learnt.
At the completion of training, a competency based assessment model is used to confirm the recertification of the instructors.
