The International School Nadi (ISN), and the school’s Parents and Teachers Association hosted their annual Fun Day yesterday.

The event was as a major fundraiser to allow the school to showcase some of the programmes, talent and support they receive and give to the community.

Organisations such as Beyond the Reef and Animals Fiji, and local handicraft sellers were part of the school event.

Stalls sold snow cones, ice-cream, lemonade, fast food, used clothes, toys, and house ware at great bargains.

ISN principal Hector Hatch said: “The fun day is an annual event where we celebrate our links with the international and local community.

“At the time when Fiji is entering the international arena in a big way we are proud to offer an education that is second to none in Fiji, preparing many of our local and international students to gain first-class degrees from universities all over the world.

“This is part of bridging the gaps through events like Fun Day. We hope that in years to come these students will retain their links with Fiji providing us with a truly international network.”

Other events included the school’s ‘Nadi’s Got Talent’ show.

PTA chairperson Jules Samuels said: “The support from the parents, school and the Nadi community was amazing.

“Not only school stalls were set up, but community stalls were also present on the day.”
