Shop N Save/ Reebok Lautoka got thumped 1-4 by Rewa in the Rewa Galaxy Premier League at Govind Park, Ba yesterday.

What Happened; The Blues drew first blood in the 17th minute through Josevata Dugucagi.

But Elvin Prakash equalised for the Delta Tigers before halftime.

Striker Epeli Saukuru extended Rewa’s lead in the 59th minute while former Lautoka rep Jone Kaloutani scored in the 83rd  minute.  Amani Makoe sealed the win in the 86th minute.

Star Turn:Amani Makoe proved to be the match-winner for Rewa.

Big Plays: Epeli Saukuru played well up front.

Comments: Rewa coach Marika Rodu said, “Happy with the four goals, we did not have a good build up. I reminded the boys about the game plan. They paid the price early but regrouped and scored two beautiful goals one before halftime and the second after the break.”

Lautoka FA vice-president Abdul Kadar said, “Disappointed with the loss. It certainly came as a shock but Rewa proved to be the better team.

“They took their chances. We are not out of the running for the league title but things will get tougher.”
