The first ever Four Nations Friendship Cup will kick off this weekend at the Port Vila Stadium in Vanuatu. Fiji, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu are the participating countries.

Four Nations Battle In Vila

The first ever Four Nations Friendship Cup will kick off this weekend at the Port Vila Stadium in Vanuatu.

Fiji, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu are the participating countries.

“Our preparations are on track in Ba under the guidance of national coaching director Carlos Buzzetti,” Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Bob Kumar said.

“We have not had the opportunity to organise friendly matches for the national team and other Oceania countries are also in similar situation.

“Whilst in Zurich for the FIFA Congress, the presidents of the four nations agreed to take part in the tournament which is set to become an annual event.

Fiji plays Solomon Island in its opening match this Saturday at 4pm.

Fixtures:

– Saturday 1pm- New Caledonia- Vanuatu; 3 Fiji- Solomon Islands.Monday: 1Vanuatu- Solomon Islands; 3 New Caledonia- Fiji

– Wednesday: 1 Solomon Islands- New Caledonia 3pm- Fiji- Vanuatu.
