It has been nearly two months and the family of late Kritesh Kumar is still in deep shock about his death.

On the morning of April 19, Kritesh Kumar was on his way to open up his family car wash business at Flagstaff when the tragedy happened.

He died instantly when the vehicle he was driving hit a lamp post on Kings Road near the Fiji Dairy Limited’s factory in Nabua.

Kritesh Kumar’s father, Suresh Kumar said: “When my wife heard about Kritesh’s death, she had a heart attack and for three weeks she was admitted in the hospital.

“She was so serious that for four to five days, she was admitted at the intensive care unit (ICU),” he said.

“My life has totally changed and I have just come to work after two months.”

Mr Kumar described Kritesh as his best boy and he still misses him a lot.

“Kritesh was a very religious, caring and hardworking person and at the age of 18, he was looking after our family business.”

He said his son was supposed to graduate at the age of 23 but he left his education to run their family business.

“Kritesh had to graduate on 24th April and in December, it was to be his wedding,” Mr Kumar said.

Meanwhile, Kritesh Kumar’s elder brother, Kunald Kumar said: “I now have extra responsibilities and I am playing role of two people.”

“Kritesh was a fantastic person and we will never be able to forget him but life has to move on,” he said.
