Reddy Stresses On Quality

The Fijian Government is removing obstacles to ensure children received quality education says Minister for Education Mahendra Reddy.

The Minister was addressing 367 students of

DAV College in Ba on Thursday.

He said students were fortunate to be receiving access to top class education under the Bainimarama Government.

“We have been examining the curriculum to ensure it is second to none,” he said.

He said the Fijian Government was fixing infrastructure and would be targeting island schools.

“Your core focus is to acquire a body of knowledge, every year and that knowledge should increase.”

He said students were to avoid engaging in distracting activities.

“We don’t want students to disturb others that are thirsty for knowledge,” Mr Reddy said.

He said the ministry was looking into digital literacy for students.

“We will discuss logistics for this later since it’s still in its initial stages,” he said.
