Four people are being treated at the Sigatoka Hospital after seven vehicles were involved in an accident at the Emuri Junction on the Queens Road in Nadroga yesterday.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the accident occurred when a private car driven by a 35-year-old man from Lami failed to negotiate a bend and hit another vehicle driven by a 28-year-old.
The accident also involved another five vehicles.
Investigations are continuing.
