Nadi Thump Northland

The Apenisa Nasorovakatini-captained Jack’s Nadi scored a bonus point win over Northland 26-3 during the Skipper Cup match at Prince Charles Park in Nadi yesterday.
The Jetsetters recorded their third bonus point win and still remain undefeated after four rounds.
What happened: Nadi started well but it took them 25 minutes to score their first try through first five-eighth Etuate Susu.
In the 35th minute flanker Aminiasi Nava ran 30 metres to score which was converted by fullback Setareki Tuicuvu.
In the 38th minute Nadi forwards were penalised and Northland’s Mesake Tuinamena kicked a penalty for the visitors.
Halftime: Nadi 14-3 Northland.
In the 65th minute Tuicuvu scored another try followed by a try to Sakiusa Nakalevu.
Big play: Etuate Susu read the game well.
Star turn: Tuicuvu deserved the man of the match.
Comments: Nadi manager Jeff Tamata said, “Our objective was to score a bonus point win and that’s what mattered to the team.”
Northland manager Maciu Koroi said, “It was a good match and Nadi played all facets of the match well.”
