Nickel Strikes Two For Suva

Suva proved an unstoppable force against Ba in the Rewa Galaxy Premier League match at the ANZ Stadium winning 3-2.
What happened: The Gurjit Singh-coached side shut Ba out to secure an important win.
Suva punished Ba with counter attacks and scored two goals with Vodafone Fijian Under-20 rep Nickel Chand scored first in the 28th minute. He controlled the ball well and perfect volley giving no chance to goalkeeper Misiwani Nairube.
Ba pulled one back in the 44th minute through Avinesh Suwamy.
Half-time: Suva 1-1 Ba
The second half belongs to the home side and they played more of a technical game.
A well structured counterattack move saw Nairube again beaten leaving Ravnit Chand to handle the ball in the penalty box.
Chand was red carded and Maciu Dunadamu scored for Suva to lead 2-1.
Chand increased the lead in the 78th minute.
An injury time goal by Shamil Rao was not enough as the side went down to flamboyant Suva side.
Star turn: Nickel Chand was the star for Suva.
