Pearls Receive $5k Boost For Sydney Trip

Fijian Pearls received a cheque of $5000 from Kasabias at the Fiji Netball Office in Suva yesterday as a build-up to the 2015 World Cup in Sydney in August. Kasabias Human Resources manager Anand Murthy said they were proud to be associated with Netball Fiji.
“I want to thank Netball Fiji for allowing us to be part of this exciting journey,” he said.
“We wish the team the very best for the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea and the World Cup in August.”
Team manager RubyAnn Sorovaki acknowledged Kasabias’ support.
“We have been receiving a whole lot of support towards the World Cup in August and for you (Kasabias) to be part of this, we thank you for your contribution. NF president Wainikiti Bogidrau said they had collected $150,000 for the the World Cup campaign.
“For the Pacific Games we have no financial problems. We were the first team to give our levies,” Bogidrau said.
