Fiji Airways ‘Vital to Economy’
It is imperative for Fiji Airways to remain as an essential service and industry in the Employment Relations Amendment Bill.
Fiji Airways Group General Manager Industry, International and Government affairs, Shaenaz Voss made this clear to the Standing Committee on Justice, Law and Human Rights during their submission on the Bill yesterday.
“Fiji Airways is fully essential for the Fiji economy; it is the backbone of the Tourism industry,”Ms Voss said.
“It is absolutely vital and essential for Fiji Airways to remain as an essential service and industry because it is the lifeline of the Fijian economy,”she said.
The Public submissions before the committee regarding the Employment Relations Amendment Bill ended yesterday.
