The 2015 Galaxy National League champions Jack’s Nadi side has extended their lead to 32 points with one match to play.

And the Nadi Football Association has ruled there would be no celebration as yet since they are building up to the Battle of the Giants and Inter-District Championship.

What happened:

Nadi led 1-0 at halftime from a goal scored by Lekima Gonerau in the 15th minute.

Halftime: Nadi 1 – 0 Ba.

The second-half saw Ba keen to equalise and they did through Narendra Rao (Junior).

But Samuela Drudru extended Nadi’s lead in the 54th minute.

In the 80 minute Ba was reduced to 10-man after Praneel Naidu was flashed his second yellow card.

Three minutes later striker Semesa Muadonu nailed the final goal to seal the match.

Star turn: Drudru was instrumental in the win.

Big play: Lekima Gonerau played well

Nadi captain Samuela Drudru said, “I would like to thank the fans and supporters for coming in big numbers and the win is for them.”

Ba captain Jone Sorolo said, “It was a disappointing match for us”
