Suva In OFC Champions League

Fortech Suva has qualified to appear in their consecutive OFC Champions League next season after finishing second best in the Rewa Galaxy Premier National League match.
And Suva Football Association dedicates this victory to their fans, family and corporate sponsors for the support this season so far.
What happened: The Shop N Save Lautoka side only had themselves to blame after they conceded three goals in 10 minutes at Prince Charles Park, Nadi, yesterday.
Both teams started their campaigns in a boring fashion, but few attacks were off target.
Half-time: Suva 0 – 0 Lautoka.
The Blues started their second spell in a dramatic fashion with striker Peni Finau registered the first goal in the 52 minute beating goalie Ulaiasi Tamanisau.
But their celebration did not last long as former Lautoka rep Poasa Bainivalu chipped over Lautoka goalie Levi Tawake in the 78 th minute following a great curl by Maciu Dunadamu from the left flank.
Five minutes later Dunadamu got his name on the score-sheet with a delicate touch past goalie Levi Tawake from a Nikhil Chand assist inside the box.
Five minutes later nippy national U20 rep Nikhil Chand had the last laugh from his sole attack inside the box to beat Tawake.
Star turn: Nikhil Chand played a grand match in the forward attacks.
Big play: Maciu Dunadamu was able to read the game well from his midfield position.
Comments: Suva coach Gurjit Singh said, “This was important win for us as I told the boys we need it here rather than wait for the last match against Nadi.
“Hats off to the boys, I told the boys we can do it despite being down 1-0. We had hope and came back strongly.”
Lautoka coach Lambert Sarju said, “It is disappointing; we started well, but we slackened down in the last 20 minutes and we just gave the game away.
“This is football but we are preparing for the BOG in coming weeks we will hit that board.”
