The Vodafone Fijian 7s team aim to achieve their third goal at the 2015 Pacific Games next week.

At the start of the season, the Ben Ryan-coached side set three goals, two of which they have accomplished in winning the World Rugby Sevens Series title and qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil.

The team is looking to make a clean sweep by accomplishing their third goal by winning gold in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea.

Team manager Paula Biu said the 19-member squad named yesterday consisted of players who featured in the 2014/2015 World Rugby Sevens Series.

“There are no new players, the squad consists of players who participated in the 7s’ series,” Biu said.

“At the start, we set three goals and we’ve achieved two so far in winning the world series and qualifying for the 2016 Rio Olympics.

“We are aiming to achieve the third goal in Papua New Guinea.

Ryan, who is currently in England, will return on Thursday.
