Joint Business Council Turnout Great, Says President

Following the success of the joint Fiji-New Zealand Business Council and the New Zealand-Fiji Business Council meeting last year, another joint conference was held in New Zealand.

The President of the Fiji-New Zealand Business Council Craig Strong said: “It was well represented by the delegates of Fiji and there were 23 present.

“This again is a testament to the confidence that Fijian based business have in the New Zealand business.”

Mr Strong said the meeting was well supported by the New Zealand officials including Ambassador for Pacific Development Shane Jones. He is also the Investment Economic Developer for the New Zealand government.

Mr Shane said: “So that to us was really good because it showed the importance the New Zealand government has with us being there.”

The next conference is planned for next year in Fiji.
