Denarau Corporation Limited has issued a detailed temporary traffic plan as works on the $7.5 million Denarau Bridge construction continues.

The re-direction traffic plan will be effective from July 3, Friday next week.

Information gathered from Denarau Corporation says the third phase of Denarau Bridge development is nearing completion.

Corporate Communications executive Leanne Edwards said: “We request all commuters to and from Denarau Island to take note of the plan.

“This is mainly on the temporary re-direction of traffic via the Bailey bridge. Drivers are required to adhere to the traffic diversions in place.”

The works are being carried out by contractors Pacific Marine & Civil Solutions (PMCS).

They are now working on the pedestrian walkway, which will also be carrying the temporary services lines.

Phase four with the temporary road installation is anticipated to be completed by next week when all traffic in and out of Denarau Island will be re-directed on the Bailey bridge.
